These chain tensioner plates are for the 2005 and earlier Dynas, FXR, and 03 and earlier Sportster models. They replace the flimsy factory pieces that often get distorted under harsh riding conditions. Our chain tensioner plates are approx 3 times thicker than the factory ones, to ensure there isn't any distortion and your wheel alignment stays where you want it to.
